My name is Mari Delgado and I’m the founder of Learn, Love and Grow Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it has always been my mission to destigmatize mental health and offer culturally competent treatment in our communities.
My family and I immigrated to the United States when I was 11 years old. While the United States has been my home for over 3 decades, I’ve witnessed the lack of mental health resources and support in my experience and the experiences of my community. I watched as language barriers, cultural taboos, and stigma prevented people from seeking the support they needed and deserved.
Founded in 2017, Learn, Love, and Grow Counseling was born out of a need for community-focused and culturally conscious care. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked in the mental health field supporting families in their native languages, breaking down barriers to mental health support, and offering education on the importance of mental health as a driving factor for the growth and longevity of our communities.
At LLG Counseling, we’re proud to offer stigma-free, social-justice-oriented, and comprehensive care. We strive to be a trusted partner by extending compassionate care to minority populations who have long awaited culturally-sensitive mental health care.
